[Jhan] It's been a couple of weeks since I did the Vocaran. Much thanks to Reigan for covering for me while I tried to adapt to working life ^_^
We have a number of interesting uploads this week, resulting in changes to the similar content we've been saying for quite a while on the Vocaran. However, there's still some things that refuse to change, like the fact Kemu's Rokuchounen to Ichiya Monogatari came back into the rankings just one week after being pushed off. The Vocaran needs to be more varied like in the past.
Also, a belated Happy Birthday to the elder Vocaloid, Meiko! Despite being overshadowed by new Vocaloids in terms of popularity, without Meiko's release paving the way for the rest, Vocaloid might not be as it is today. :)
And on to my picks of the week...
#12 GravitoN by MuryokuP feat. Luka - An interesting semi-techno song featuring Luka, who thankfully seems to be appearing in the Vocaran more these days. Coming off the last awesome-but-forgotten Story of Hope remix, MuryokuP is still awesome.
#8 Torinoko City Cover by 1640mP (164x40mP) - A more rock-oriented version of 40mP's classic Torinoko City, as expected when you mix in 164's style. Personally prefer the original, but this is a nice re-make of sorts with a twist. Also, Miku's tuning here is better, but then again Torinoko City was uploaded way before V3 was released.
#1- World Calling by Jin feat. IA - I'm not on the Jin fan-bandwagon. In fact, I personally don't like how much he's contributing to the over-saturation of the Vocaran. But I found this song to be rather OK, at least with a really well done PV. The Koropokkuru part at 2:32 made me laugh especially, reminding me of Honey&Clover XD

There will be various arrangements of popular Miku songs which will be included in the album.
「Minna Miku Miku ni shite Ageru ♪ ~Heartsnative2~」
The album will be released on the 7th of November by Geneon Universal Entertainment.
Also, new models will be added to Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- f on the 6th of November.
Akita Neru, Yowane Haku and also Kasane Teto will be released!
These three well known characters will make an entrance in the DIVA world.
